Hang onto your hats here, folks, because the implementation of an interface that can record entries into these tables appropriately and have a degree of useability is a challenge on a number of levels. In the process of addressing them I will be including some material completely new to this document, including the first foray into javascript. Therefore, in order to keep the various threads of this process manageable, I am going to break this sub-chapter ito sub-sub-chapters <grin>. Some of these may end up being relatively short, but I think it will be helpful overall.
